Animal Cruelty Board Must Remain Unbiased

In 2014 Pattie Lovelace and Nancy Hasselbring took a politically biased stand against the candidates running for office, and signed a petition printed in the Tryon Daily Bulletin on October 31, 2014.

Their public petition made me wonder if they would perform their duties on the Animal Cruelty Board in an unbiased manner, treating all citizens of Polk County fairly.  Having doubt in their decision making, I chose not to re-appoint them to the board.

I stand by my decision.
